Festival of Navratri is just around the corner, it’s time to rejoice and invoke spirituality within us. Let’s understand the real meaning of the Navratri. We all are very much aware that 9 forms of Goddess Durga are worshipped in Navratri, but along with the goddess, demons are also shown at their feet, so here deities are the symbolic representation of purity or divinity, whereas the demon symbolises five vices of the soul, hence we invoke deities to overpower our demonic vices like lust, anger, greed, attachment, ego  and many other negative habits and sanskars.
