On the occasion of Vishwa Bandhutva Diwas (18th Smriti Day of Rajyogini Dadi Prakashmaniji), a grand blood donation drive titled Vishal Raktdaan Abhiyaan (Universal Brotherhood Blood Donation Drive 2025) was organized at Shivalay, Raigadh Colony, Ghatpuri Road, Khamgaon by the Brahma Kumaris, Khamgaon Centre. The event was conducted in association with the Government Hospital, Khamgaon, whose dedicated team extended their wholehearted cooperation in the blood collection process.
The program witnessed the gracious presence of eminent guests including Hon’ble Shri Chandan Singh Rajput, BDO Panchayat Samiti Khamgaon; Dr. Nilesh Tapre, Medical Superintendent, General Hospital Khamgaon; Dr. Abhilash Khandare, Taluka Medical Officer Khamgaon; Dr. R.T. Surushe, Assistant Group Development Officer Shegaon; Senior Journalist Farukh Sir; Senior Journalist Shri Rajesh Rajore (Additional Editor); along with BK Shakuntala Didi, Centre Incharge, Khamgaon.
Esteemed speakers for the event were Shri Chandan Singh Rajput, Dr. Nilesh Tapre, BK Shakuntala, and BK Sushma, who inspired the gathering with their encouraging words on the spirit of service, health, and universal brotherhood.
The drive benefitted around 80 participants, with 37 units of blood successfully donated during the camp. The initiative also aimed to contribute towards a Guinness World Record, highlighting the noble cause of saving lives through collective efforts.
This event was a remarkable expression of brotherhood, selfless service, and dedication to humanity, perfectly aligning with the values cherished by the Brahma Kumaris spiritual family.
