On 17 March 2026, Brahma Kumaris – Om Shanti Retreat Center received the prestigious “Community Climate Action Award” during India Climate Week 2026 held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.
The award was presented by the Hon’ble Minister of State for New and Renewable Energy, Shri Shripad Naik ji, along with Shri Manish Dabkara ji, President of CMAI and Chairman of EKI Energy Services Ltd, and Shri Rohit Kumar ji, Secretary General of CMAI.
The award was given to Brahma Kumaris – Om Shanti Retreat Center and was received by Sister BK Sonika, Sister BK Mittali, Sister BK Madhavi, and Brother BK Neeraj on behalf of Brahma Kumaris.
The award was given in recognition of their dedicated efforts in promoting environmental awareness and climate action through spiritual values and community service.
The organization expressed sincere gratitude to the Carbon Markets Association of India (CMAI) for this recognition.
